Not two kilometers away from our place, the satellite dishes of the newly built cable company are looking very good. These are owned by the East Manila Cable, a provider of cable TV and internet connection in Cainta, Rizal. With the lower sharing ratio among subscribers, there is no over-subscription issue. There is also no bandwidth capping.
The cable TV-internet-phone package is reasonably priced, though more expensive than my present subscription. Another thing is that I don't need the cable tv and phone line, but still, I am seriously considering one of their residential internet packages. If Smart internet will remain unreliable in the coming days, going cable internet is probably the best option. There is hope after all.
